Hinterer Brochkogel (3628m): Sudost grat
From the breslauer hutte to the mitterkarjoch is good. Snow starts at around 3000m. Way is trailed to the joch.
The snow up to the joch is great. klettersteig is good but the rinne itself is good too. trail over the bergschrund starts at the exit of the klettersteig.
Planned to climb the north face but because of a whiteout we were not able to cross the bergschrund. We tried some snowbridges but they were to weak. visibility was about 20m so we couldt find a good snowbridge. We decided to follow the southeast ridge to the summit. Nice tour with winter like conditions. When we were at the top the clouds cleared a bit and other people were able to cross the bergschrund on their way to the wildspitze. Way to the wildspitze is trailed and should stay good until next snowfall. After the mitterkar joch ca 40cm triebschnee.
