Verdon (1027m)
L‘Empreinte des Millénaires
Really nice and diverse route, climbing slabs, chossy sections and nice steep pitches! Total recommendation. Protection is good, but not like at a sport crag.
P1: grassy traverse, climb little bit up, traverse horizontal and climb 1m down to the belay.
P2: short but nice pitch.
P3: Crux pitch as a cold start. Awesome climbing on holes with a little traverse. Crux is a small boulder and maybe some resistance. Beautiful!
P4: A little bit chossy but fun
P5: Rock quality is better, fun and not so hard pitch.
P5-6: Walking terrain. Next belay on one bolt and a nice tree
P6: Superb pitch with „steep“ climbing on big holds.
P7: Again beautiful „steep“ climbing!!
P8: Awesome Rock quality and moves ending in a more slabby traverse into a small crack (keep it lower).
P9: Fun climbing in „wasserrillen“ and really good rock quality. Moving up with nice friction climbing!
P10: Super Verdon style rock with holes and horizontal cracks! Fun!
P11: Walk along the ridge a little to the left and reach the wall with one bolt in it. Climb it up. We had the belay on one of many awesome hourglasses/Sanduhren/holes in the rock
Decent: Follow up to the ridge. Walk it down following the stone marks. We walked via the point sublime, but maybe there is a shorter track through the small canyon?!

Basic multipitch gear with ~13/14 quickdraws. No Cams or nuts needed
Leave the tunnel at the Baumé aus pigeons and descent with ropes to the beach/river. Walk up (against stream direction) until you are really close to the water. You can see 2 silver bolts (not the golden ones) indicating the first pitch of the route. If the water level is really low you could maybe walk to a fixed rope and skip the 4b pitch. Otherwise start next to the water following the 2 bolts (more will come)
