Mönch - SW Grat
We left the Mönchjochshütte at 05.00 and started the climb at 06.00. The description in the guidebook about how to climb the ridge is not accurate, so better follow your own instincts. We arrived at the summit at 10.15, enjoying the wonderfull views. We used the Normalweg to get back to the Jungfraujoch again.
The ridge was dry and well to do. The upper part of the route leads through the upper section of the NW-Wand (Nollen) and the snow/ice conditions looked very well, too (early morning hours!). The conditions will only improve in the next couple of weeks.
