Verhältnis-Beschreibung Last day of the season with light and shadow. We left at 6 from the last parking lot at the end of the private road at 2100. We walked up the path (often equipped and a bit difficult, shoes recommended) to the refuge. Then we put on skis on snow that had frozen hard thanks to the clear sky of the night despite the freezing point above 4000. Snow in bowls and frozen up to two hundred meters from the top. Not an easy climb, we put on crampons from 3100. Then a big block for the 3cm of new snow at the top. Only people on foot going up. At 1030 on the way down it had given up a bit, 4 stars at the top, two at the bottom. Here the shadows. We wanted to go down the slope on the orographic left of the refuge that you take all the way to the left going up a bit. After a bit of fiddling we gave up due to the lack of tracks and not being able to understand how much of an obstacle the ice and crevasses that could be seen halfway up the steep high slope could pose. The girl at the refuge didn't help us much, saying she didn't know the conditions but that in the last three days of great heat they had worsened a lot. End of story, great effort to walk down the ascent path and as soon as we reach the car we see two skialps (who knows where they came from?) who enter the slope and easily overcome the sections that from afar seemed more difficult, arriving ten minutes from the car .... Good dose of nerves .... But that's okay. Beautiful places, with Gabri.
