Gantrisch (2175m): Gantrischhütte-Morgetenpass- Bunker-Gantrisch
Gantrisch via Morgetepass, Burgle and Schibespitz.
Spring conditions in the Gantrish as for 18/02. More enjoyable for the tour than for the skiing itself.
Morgetepass in passable conditions, well marked and doable without harscheisen (see picture). Burgle can be accessed by skis but large part of the grassy slopes are not covered by snow anymore, I came down to Morgetepass walking on the ridge and left the skies at the Schibespitz to walk on the ridge up to the Gantrisch. Route to the Gantrisch is good, did not use crampons nor ice-axe. Chains and steep passages below the summit are clear from snow.
Way down skiing from Morgetepass to Gantrischhutte is not pleasant but well snow covered (see picture), almost no stones contacts but hard to drive.
Couloirs in Burgle and Schibespitz are in good conditions.
